He has established himself as one of Gambia’s brightest writers. Within a span of two years, Famara has written two bestselling novels. When my Village Was My Village and Recollections of An African Child are exceptional masterpieces of the gentleman.
Recently, he accompanied a 14 year old Nene Bojang of Bwiam to commemorate the Day of The African Child in Lilongwe, Malawi.
