The 17th Executive Council of the University of the Gambia Students Union launches Students Week 2019. The grand week-long event will be held in the Lower River Region popular resort of Tendaba from January 4th-11th 2019. The theme will be:

Re-Defining National Development: Putting the People First.

The Students Week, the biggest annual students’ convergence in the country, is meant to strengthen students’ unionism, bring them closer to pertinent issues affecting the nation and give them the opportunity to have a say in the national discourse.

We’re returning to Tendaba, the home of the new Students Week legacy. But it’s even better experience this time; Students Week 2019 will be written beyond all full stops.

Just a tip: the boat trips, seminars, sport activities, community services, pageant, safari, etc. await you. And get wet all day in the mega swimming pool; it’s yours to swim in! Full disclosure of the Students Week 2019 package will be made at the UTGSU Congress next month. But don’t wait for it to begin preparations. Everyone plans to be in Tendaba.

Some call it ‘Def defat’, but we call it “the last experience of a generation. ”
